Tracy grew up on the East Coast and is the oldest of three siblings. Abuse and trauma throughout childhood manifested into a number of health issues spanning over 20 years. She battled an eating disorder, was sick and extremely overweight. Conventional Drs. failed her over and over again. A turning point came after her son was born. Being born to a sick Mama, he was sick for the first three years of his life. Failed again by conventional medicine, he had been prescribed seven medications, 3 of which were not approved for children under twelve. Determined to find answers she took her son to a Naturopathic Doctor. This changed the trajectory of not only her son’s life but her own as well. Two weeks after visiting the Naturopath, her son was a different child. No more infections, no more Dr. visits. This was her first introduction to the power of food and the idea that most diseases can be reversed…because they are created. Tracy describes her path to healing as being paved with blood, sweat and tears.
She learned that in order for her to heal physically and overcome the eating disorder, she would first need to deal with the emotional trauma. This was a long, painful journey but she found freedom on the other side. A woman of faith, she also believed that sickness did not line up with God’s plan for her life. During this time Tracy worked in Clinical Research. Although incongruent with her personal beliefs and lifestyle, it provided an excellent education understanding the inner workings of Big Pharma. Deciding she needed to be part of the solution, not the problem, Tracy went back to school to study Nutrition.
After graduating, she left research to pursue her dream and began a Private Practice. She went on to receive further education in Plant-Based Nutrition, Plant-Based Medicine and is Board Certified by The American Association for Drugless Practitioners. Tracy currently lives and practices in San Antonio, Tx. She is also a soon to be published author. Her son, now in his mid-twenties is also healthy and thriving.
Tracy’s life work is dedicated to helping those with Auto-Immune disease, Diabetes, Eating Disorders and Thyroid & hormone issues, as well as those with chronic disease which has manifested from unresolved trauma. She is also extremely passionate about patient advocacy, teaching others to become advocates for their own healthcare. Tracy speaks on a variety of health topics and her mission is to bring a message of hope, healing and truth to the world.
